ADDITIONAL INFO:      The Wyatt is kind of an enigma to me, it looks like it should have been in the Officer Ranch collection, but I think it was probably the last of the rosewood handled lock backs in the Officer Ranch series. The paperwork in this box adds to the ministry, it has the Wilsonville Oregon address on the papers, but the box is a Kershaw box that has the Tualatin Oregon address on the back of the box. To further muddy the waters the box says “Made in USA – Printed in USA.” Obviously the knife is not made in USA, as it is plainly stamp Japan but this does further my point that this knife just doesn’t fit into the overall Kershaw theme that was being introduced after Kai Cutlery purchased Kershaw. These are good knives and well made knives. I have used them I have even customized them, they are solid well-made knives. I’m not sure what the blade steel is but I suspect either AUS6 or AUS8A. They are solid knife hold an edge well. I bought several of these about eight years ago to customize them, and I never got around to finishing all of them, I’m just trying to get more room in my collection, and I don’t need triple and quadruple copies of each knife.
