Folk's, I hate to use the word rare on a knife, but I'm gonna do it on this little gem.

I don't care where ya look, these little Stag hunters are very hard to find. They were only made from 1959 - 1970, this one being a 1964 - 69 with the small Case XX USA stamp on it and the pattern number on the back

This is the Case XX Stag 523-3 1/4 hunter, made in the 1964-69 era

Knife is 6 1/4" OAL with a 3 1/4" blade

Blade is stamped with the small CASE XX over USA on the front and 523-3 1/4 on the off side. Blade also has the notched backspine too prevent thumb slippage

Stag scales have good color and ruffed out bark on both sides (see pics)

Comes with Original Case XX sheath which is in excellent condition

Knife is in Near Mint condition, never carried or used, with a few light marks on the back pommel, and just a couple lite marks on the blade that you really have to look for
