CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE: A few scratches on the blades and maybe some scuff marks on the tangs.

BLADE WEAR:  Blades appear to have been used but seem to have the original factory edge.

 ADDITIONAL INFO:      As near as I can place them the Task Force Series from Kershaw was introduced late 1985 to early 1986, about the time Kai Cutlery purchased Kershaw Knives from Pete Kershaw. They do not have the “OREGON” tang stamp, which indicates to me they were probably made about the time of the changeover or shortly thereafter. Kershaw touted knives in the Task Force Series as; “… a mini-tool chest you can carry in your pocket. Don’t mistake these fine knives for toys. Each will provide the heavy-duty Kershaw performance you’ve come to expect.” There are three knives in the Task Force Series and the #3020, “The Sarge,” is the middle knife of the three. I don’t recall this series being in production for a long time and it’s unusual to find them today, especially in such excellent condition!
