ADDITIONAL INFO:      I am far from an expert when it comes to Case knives but according to the chart here on AAPK this knife was made circa 1940 to 1964. This is a great size knife to carry, in my opinion. I like the old carbon steel in the Case XX knives, and I even carried this knife for two or three weeks. It’s a nice size to carry when you don’t want a big knife in your pocket, yet it’s a fantastic cutting tool. There are cracks at the pins on the pile side handles. The one at the front end actually spreads out, but it is not loose and I have stabilized it with CA. I believe this knife will make someone an excellent every day carry knife.
