This is a 4 1/2" closed Great Eastern Cutlery model 23 Pioneer knife with primitive bone handle scales. The blades are 1095 carbon steel. The knife is tang stamped "Northfield" over "UN-X-LD" over "MADE IN U.S.A." on the mark side and "TITUSVILLE" over "IRONWORKS" on the reverse side of the master blade. The secondary blade is stamped "2006 over 2007" on the mark side and "GREAT EASTERN" over "CUTLERY" over "TITUSVILLE, PA" over "MADE IN U.S.A." on the reverse side. The master blade is also etched with Northfield UN-X-LD trademark under the pull. The secondary blade is also etched with MODEL 23 PIONEER - 1 of 250 on the mark side.
