Collectors special- A  First Edition BOKER COMBAT SMATCHET, serial number 0332/1200. Product number AF578S. Have not seen one for sale a long time, none I could find currently. Designed and made in 1999 in collaboration with a famous duo of Applegate and Fairbairn, and was discontinued in this exact form next year in 2000. The handle according to Boker is actually made of composite wood on the First Edition, while later Editions were all polycarbonate. Made in Germany. Total lenght is 16 inches, the blade is 10-1/4 inches and 2-3/4 inches at the widest point. In as new condition straight from the bottom of my safe- was never even handled for the last 26 years- taken out for the pictures only. Complete with all the original packaging, the sheet, the storage bag and even the plastic bag it came in. Don't compare it to the later Editions - there is only one First Edition for collectors.
