GEORGE WOSTENHOLM SHEFFIELD
This is a HAWKBILL PRUNER pattern knife made in SHEFFIELD. It measures 4 1/2 in the closed position. The blade is clearly stamped and no England. Blade is fairly full with good snaps opening and closing. Knife has a very early IXL stamping on center of blade. Bolsters ans liners are made of steel and are integral (1) piece . Knife has very nice original thick stag with a steel but cap. This knife was made in the mid to late 1800.scThanks for taking a look.
