This Custom 1 of 1 knife from the original Ritter factory was done by Gerry Vessella from Dryden, Mi. Gerry's in his 80's now and doesn't do much anynore but he just recently did this one for me. He still does some of the best work I have ever seen, and he never makes two knives the same. This Hubertus "Cigar" was done in Mastadon Ivory and he fashioned a bottom bolster from pre-ban elephant ivory. As you know the cigar pattern never came with a bottom bolster. The knife is also completely fileworked and tricked out (please see pictures). The blade is etched with Hubertus along with the Hubertus logo and says Solingen, Geschmiedet, Rostfrei and Germany. The knife works perfectly and has no peek. The Cigar is about 6 1/2 inches long with the blade open and 3 3/4 inches long with the blade closed. This knife has never been used and is LIKE NEW in every way. Here's something special at a really good price for the collection.
