Kershaw marks their blems with a subtle laser-etched "XXXX" on the pile side of the blade to signify it has minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect structural performance or mechanical operation.

​The Blade: Premium Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel with a clean satin finish and a razor-sharp factory edge. The blade faces are spotless. The mark side is etched with the Kershaw script logo, and the reverse features the model designation 1660USA, the flag icon, Ken Onion Design, and the factory blem XXXX stamp.

​The Handle: Lightweight 6061-T6 anodized aluminum handles featuring the red, white, and blue American Flag design. The colors are crisp and bright.
