This knife came in with other items I bought. I'm not a Benchmade knife guy so I spent some time gathering info on this. So far as I can tell it's the real deal. In original box, with barcode, pouch, foam pad, and literature.  About 5" when closed and a liitle under 9" when open. Aluminum frame with black carbon fiber handles. Manual opening, but has a blade lock on the underside and blade juts out like a switchblade when using the lever. Has never been sharpened. I was told the knife had been in storage an may need lubrication. It's just kind of stiff from lack of use. I believe the clip is reversible. I've had a hard time getting information on the 4170. This is from Benchmade and appears to be a very similiar knife. I encourage you to do your own research so there is no misundertanding. This is not the exact knife I have.
