GEC 2006 1st year pattern #73 Square End Trapper - serial #230

Like new in tube with oil paper, never carried or sharpened - 3 3/4" closed with solid 1/2 stops and great blade snap. High polished stainless clip point and spey blades with nice 2 blade etch.  High polished nickle-silver bolsters and handsome tobacco pick bone covers.  This is a 1st year production stamped 2006 and serial numbered 230 was made prior to GECs current production nomenclature. It’s also a GEC branded Cyclops Steel Works which indicates stainless steel.

Although, the blade etch indicates 250 produced, according to the GEC production totals from 2006 there were only 177 made.  This piece is unusual being numbered 230 of 177 produced. Not sure if it’s significant, but it’s definitely one of the last produced from 2006.

This piece walks and talks, spot on all the way around, a truly beautiful and investment quality piece!
