ADDITIONAL INFO:      The 36OT is a very difficult pattern to find. The people who liked it and used the leather punch absolutely love the knife. People who didn’t use the punch blade usually opted for the 34OT; stockman. The 36OT only shows up in the Schrade catalogs from 1990 to 1992. This knife is a special edition.The bolsters are engraved with the serial number that is either 0769 or 6769. The first appears to be double engraved so it is not clear whether it is a 0 or a 6. In either case it is a limited edition production. It has a miniaturized letter signed by Wally Gardner, former president of Schrade and a Ducks Unlimited registration certificate and a Schrade cutlery warranty card with proper use and care of your Schrade knife instructions. This flyer shows four knives, the 225OT, 44OT, 106OT and the 877UH. The flyer says these four patterns are “New from Schrade.” By checking the dates that these knives were produced it’s possible to get a rough idea of when this 36OT was made. The only time in which these four patterns were made at the same time is 1991 in 1992. Obviously the paperwork could be older than the knife but this does allow us to get a rough idea of when this 36OT was produced.
