ADDITIONAL INFO: I don't know a lot about Remington knives, but from what I can find out the R-9 came out in the 1990s. Of course Camillus made them for Remington. This one has wood handles and there is a pin crack at the top rear pin on the pile side. If I were keeping it I would use some thin Zap-A-Gap CA glue, (super glue). I don't think it will split unless it gets wet for a long time. I believe this wood is treated. Most of these I have seen have Delrin handles or colored wood handles. I think this one may have been put together just before the closing of Camillus. Now is your chance to add one to your collection. Sorry, no sheath with this knife.
