Vintage 1978 CASE XX 5154 SSP, 1979 NKCA Stag Trapper - MINT
This old beauty is approximately 4 1/8" long when closed. The gorgeous genuine stage handles are crack/chip free. The blade is front tang stamped: CASE XX, STAINLESS USA with 2 dots - One dot below the "S" and a second dot below the "A"(see pics). This is one of 2 variations in the tang stamp for this knife pattern - the other having 2 dots, one below the "U" and one below the "A". The rear tang tang is stamped: 5154 SSP, NKCA 1979(see pics). The blade is ETCHED with the famous pre-NKCA logo: NATIONAL KNIFE COLLECTORS, 1979(see pics). The knife has never been carried, used or, sharpened - MINT condition.
