Great Eastern Cutlery #151113STL Tom's Choice TC Sawyer Barlow in Black Ebony Wood. This was a Charlie Campagna SFO issued in 2013, one of 47 produced. I am the second owner of this knife. I traded for it back in 2014 with a Bladeforums member. The original owner removed the etch from this knife. He told me he had pocketed it a few times but never used or sharpened the knife, so the knife retains it's factory edge. Since I acquired it in 2014, it's been locked away in my safe and has not been handled or played with and it will show as such when you recieve it. Outside of the etch being removed, it handles, looks and feels like a factory new GEC knife. The walk & talk is outstanding and seasoned TC collectors who have handled and compared the older TC Barlows to the newer ones know, they are a cut above in the fit, finish & action. Seasoned collectors also know that this configuration has always been one of the hardest to find/obtain with the Dark Ebony Wood, Single Clip Point blade & Longpull. A classic Tom's Choice Barlow that finds itself equally at home with your Tuxedo or Blue Jeans. 3 1/2" closed, 1095 High Carbon Steel with All Steel construction (bolsters, liners & pins). Due to the etch having been removed and it being a used knife, I have priced it down accordingly. The knife pictured is the knife you will receive.
