ADDITIONAL INFO:      This pattern was made from 1957 to 1975. The 225 (without thong hole) was a Schrade Cut Co pattern #2108 3/8, which was renamed 225 when Albert Baer bought Schrade Cut Co in 1946.  The basic pattern was so popular it was made prior to WWII and continued until 1997 in a single blade version as the 125OT, Mustang. The pattern was in production for over 50 years and the same basic design is still made today by other companies. This knife would be a great user knife. It comes with a newer production Schrade sheath.
