Vintage ROBESON ShurEdge FROZEN HEAT Cutlery Carving Set with Box

Carving knife edge show signs of sharpening, not messed up or anything like that.

Stamp shown on carver blade. Fork is stamped Shur Edge in script also, STAINLESS under that. It appears to be un-used.

Comes with original box and cloth lining.

Box is a hinged clam shell type cardboard. Outside has wear and stains. Inside has a few abraisons where points have poked, still useable and firm. Not crushed or tore, no repairs.

Handles are solid Rosewood and damage free, no dings or cuts. Pins are nickel silver.

Emerson Case came to Robeson in 1940. After the War he developed and Robeson patented the Frozen Heat hardening process.

Set is in excellent shape and still would be a fine user. It would last several life times if properly maintained.

Robeson Shuredge bit the dust in 1965.
