Camillus New York Orange Pilot Parachute Knife Vietnam Era RARE MC-1 Hook     Camillus MC1 US Government issue paratrooper knife.  These knives were made by Camillus for the US Government for approximately 50 years.  They were primarily issued to military personnel especially paratroopers.  Some were also used by NASA and other government branches.  This is new/unused condition. Measures approx ~ 4 1/4 inches closed and7 3/8" with clip blade open.  The clip blade is stamped CAMILLUS NEW YORK USA on the tang and is full with original finish.  The hook blade is left open during a jump for quick access in case of parachute emergency with the knife attached to the jumpsuit by a cord tied to the lanyard ring. Orange handles (scales) are in great condition, bright color and no shrinkage.  Works Great, as it should, good snap and locks open with a little movement each way.     Please ensure you review all photos and use the zoom function.
