This old ball pull automatic comes from my grandfather's collection that was passed down to me.  I don't know where he got it, but in his retirement he collected slipjoint pocketknives by visiting local flea markets in northern California.

In my opinion (I am absolutely not an expert on folding knives) it's in very nice condition.  It's not mint nor "NIB" but doesn't have a ton of wear like other knives in his collection.  The blade has some scratches on it from use, and there is some tarnishing and pitting here and there on the metal, but overall it seems good to me.

The handles are also in good condition, again with some scuffs from time and wear, but overall they are a nice faux-wood kind of material.

The spring on it is very good. Pull on the ball and it snaps open very well.  It doesn't lock in place, but I get the impression it isn't supposed to lock in place, but again I am no knife expert.  It locks back into folded position nicely with no peek.
