Handles have some flaws in them, some places that look chipped or somehow melted, but they aren't major flaws and some of the flaws can be hard to see until you look close.

The spring on the knife opens nicely and locks into place.  There is some wobble to it when it's opened, but nothing out of the ordinary I think.

The knife locks into place well and doesn't seem to have any peek, but does seem to manage to peek up over the liners over time, which you can see in the video.

The blade itself has some pitting going on and there are scratches on it from time and wear.

It's a bit unusual to see a case automatic I think.  Based on a forum post on this site, it's possible it was made by Schrade for Case, but I am not a professional, nor do I know much about anything at all, so please take care to do your own research.
I don't make any claims about authenticity or provenance.  All I can tell you is that my grandfather owned it and it passed down to me.  I don't know where he got it, but I do know he liked to shop local flea markets in around the Sacramento area of northern California.
