Vintage E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter Pocket Knife – Jigged Bone – 2-Blade Jack Knife – 3 3⁄8” Closed

Offered here is a vintage E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter pocket knife featuring classic jigged bone handles and nickel silver bolsters. This two-blade jack knife measures 3 3⁄8 inches closed.

The main clip point blade measures approximately 2 3⁄8 inches and shows signs of sharpening and wear, with the E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter stamp still visible but quite worn. The smaller pen blade measures 1 7⁄8 inches and carries a clearer Keen Kutter stamp.

Both blades exhibit minor wobble when open, but still have a decent amount of snap on opening and closing. There is some visible patina and light pitting consistent with age and use.

The jigged bone handles are a rich chestnut brown with good texture. One side has some damage to the top scale, which appears to have been sealed or repaired at some point—please see photos for close-up details. The nickel silver shield is intact, and both bolsters have honest wear from handling over the years.

A solid example of an early 20th-century Simmons hardware knife—great for collectors of vintage American cutlery.
