From a recent consignment with a fellow AAPK member comes this 1990 Case Classic split backsprings whittler.  The scales are torched sambar stag that is chip and crack free.  The carbon steel blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  This is a split backspring pattern with very strong snap and pulls that are hard, an 8 out of ten.  This is the way old whittler patterns were designed to angle two backsprings with a wedge to apply more pressure on the main blade in order to keep the blade open against accidental closure.  Measures 4 1/2" closed OAL.  No box, but I will include an A.G.
