Miller Bros. Meriden CT Moose Pattern Equal End 4 1/4" Closed Jigged Bone Loud Snap Both Blades
The Miller Bros. Co. was formed in 1856 in Meridan CT but did not start making knives until 1870. This knife dates to the 1880's. The moose pattern is always a big knife as in this case, a 4 1/4" cl;osed 2 blade with brown jigged bone handles held down by three iron pins. Iron liners and bolsters with a pinned nickel federal shield. Big and heavy, half stop, factory tight, long pull and loud walk and talk.
