Here's a vintage Hubertus Guardian knife from the old Ritter company in Solingen, Germany. This Custom Guardian was done by Gerry Vessella from Dryden, Michigan. I've been useing Gerry for about 35 years now and his work is just amazing. He's in his 80's now so he's not doing much anymore. The Rare Blue Mastadon Ivory handles are something to behold (please see pictures) and it also has blue liners. The knife works perfectly and fires with power and speed, and the blade locks up rock solid with no wobble or play. The blade sets deep in the handles and has no peek at all and is centered perfectly. The extensive beautiful filework is also something special. This knife is also one of one because Gerry has never made two the same. The blade is etched with THE GUARDIAN the Hubertus logo and Hubertus along with Solingen, Rostfrei and Germany. The Guardian is about 7 1/8 inches long with the blade open. Here's a really special one to add to your Hubertus and German knife collection.
