This is a Case knife 1 piece prototype submitted to the NKCA for hopeful selection of the 1993 Youth Knife program, but was not chosen. It was the only knife made in this configuration that year. This knife was sold through the Voyles Prototype auction in 2009 to raise funds for the National Knife Collectors Association.

It is a Lockback pattern 71405L SS made in 19922. It measures 3 3/4 inch closed. Single blade made of stainless steel, with jigged greenbone handles, brass liners, and nickel silver bolsters and NKCA shield.

This knife has the unique Bradford stamp. The blade is engraved with “NKCA SAMPLE” on the back side. The knife has never been used or carried. The blade is clean and never sharpened, and the handles are free from any flaws. The blade locks up tight.

This knife does not have a box.
