This Stidham's Knives Stockman pocketknife is a must-have for any collector or outdoor enthusiast. The knife features a beautiful stag handle and a plain edge blade made of carbon steel. The blade range measures 2.76 - 4 inches and the knife is designed for right-handed dexterity.

The knife is a slipjoint and has a manual opening mechanism. It has a three-bladed pen, sheepsfoot, and spear point design. The handle is made of stag/antler material and the knife is part of the Griptilian product line. This original Stockman model was manufactured in Germany and is a great addition to any collection.

The master blade is a spearpoint three and three-quarter inches long from tip to tang. The tank stamp says Stidhams knives. Belpre Ohio. There looks to be a serial number of 137 on top of the tank and an etching of a bird on point and the words hand for. The second sheep foot blade is 2 1/4 inches tip to tang. It also has the same tank stamp and the third spearpoint blade is also 2 1/4 inches tip to tang. There are a couple of minor blade scrapes that are in line with the age of this (Knife). Scott brass liners, nickel, bolsters, and some really nice stag scales.(handles.) it also has a dogs head shield. I don’t believe this knife ever to be used. I don’t see the abuse to the blades. There is a little stiffness when opening the blades I am going to add a little bit of silicone based lubricant before shipping to see if that will ease that a bit, the overall length of this knife with the blade open is 8 inches. And 4 1/2 inches with all the blades closed.

The knife you see is the knife you will receive. Please look at the images closely, because a good and careful and close look can tell you more than I could possibly describe with words. it has been a while since we have seen these knives in the market, but I haven’t seen any in a couple years and I had to pick these up when I saw them. They could use a good polishing.
