This is a vintage Case XX Cheetah pocketknife from 1976 with a unique 4-dot jigged bone handle. The knife has a clip point blade made of carbon steel and a lockback lock type. The handle is made of bone material in a beautiful brown appaloosa color. This knife is an original and was manufactured in the United States.

The opening mechanism is manual, and the knife has one blade. This modern folding knife belongs in the Collectibles, Knives, Swords & Blades, and Collectible Folding Knives categories. The model is Case XX Cheetah, and the knife's year of manufacture is 1976. This pocketknife is a great addition to any collection and is perfect for everyday use.

The clip blade is 3 1/2 inches from tip to tang. It does have the swing guard blades. It’s got case double X with USA right under that and right under that is 4 dots. On the reverse side, it’s got the pattern number 6111 1/2 L. The overall length is 7 7/8 inches. The lockback mechanism is on the back of the knife handles are a real nice brown jig bone. It has nickel silver bolsters brass liners with four pins, holding bones on the liners. Pretty clean on the inside.

Condition

The bone handles in the nickel bolsters and all the brass liners swinging guards are all in great shape. However, I think somebody put this knife up dirty on several occasions, we have slight pitting appearing on both sides of the blade. Please look at images.
