Based on its design and jigged bone handles, it shares characteristics with models like the 6232 Texas Jack or the 62042 pattern, which were commonly produced between 1940 and 1969.      Key Characteristics

  • Brand: W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. (Case XX), indicated by the oval shield on the handle.
  • Handle Material: Dark brown or reddish "jigged" bone, a classic texture for vintage Case knives.
  • Blades: It features two blades—a larger clip point master blade and a smaller secondary pen blade.
  • Estimated Era: The style of the "Case" shield and the overall pattern are most consistent with knives made in the 1940-1964 or 1965-1969 eras.
