Benchmade Griptilian 551 (154cm/Tan Grivory)  

The Benchmade Griptilian is one of the toughest, most proven EDC folding knives on the planet—bomb-proof AXIS lock, grippy handle, and a blade that just keeps going no matter how hard you run it. This tan Grivory-handled, black-coated full-size version has clearly been a daily workhorse for years.  

Condition: This knife is in good, heavily used pre-owned condition with silky-smooth AXIS lock action and zero play in the lockup. The black-coated blade is heavily worn—coating is rubbed off on the high spots and edges, revealing plenty of silver steel underneath, with sharpening scratches, scuffs, scratches, and some minor edge roll from hard use (still perfectly serviceable and sharp enough for real work). The tan Grivory scales have heavy rounding and wear around all edges, pocket scuffs, and typical melt marks near the pivot from hot carry. Pocket clip has most of the finish worn off but is tight and solid. Mechanically excellent—opens and closes like a Griptilian should.  

This is a true battle-scarred user that’s already proven itself and is begging for more pocket time.
