Microtech HALO II, early production single action OTF automatic model, made in 2005.  This is the year that Microtech moved their headquarters from Vero Beach in Florida to Bradford, Pennsylvania.   This one is probably made in Vero Beach since the transition to HALO III production began shortly thereafter at the new Pennsylvania location.

This is an exceptional example, never has been used or carried.  The black satin paint on the handle body is perfect – no scratches or defects.  The partially vented and serrated blade is also perfect without flaws.  Very hard to find in this condition for a twenty-year-old knife.  Truly “Amazing in every way” as the saying goes.  It is so lightweight and yet so powerful.  It’s a pleasure to hold this in your hand and push the firing button.  Fires hard with solid lockup, operates exactly as it should.  Manufacturing serial number 00544.  Most of these HALO II at the time were primarily made under contract for the U.S. military, these knives were probably mostly used and beat up.  Since then, all Microtech HALO knives have become very popular to collectors with all versions now out of production.

Knife comes as pictured with the 2005 product booklet, carbon fiber kydex belt rig for carrying, and a factory piece of paper noting the operating instruction details (this paper is the type of thing required by our government for military use).  I don’t have a box or anything else.
