Puma brand, made in Germany. Made in 1999 as a submission for the 2000 NKCA Youth Knife Program. This is the original 1 piece prototype, and it was the winning submission that year, so full production was ordered was ordered for 2000 by the National Knife Collectors Association. This knife was sold through the Voyles Prototype auction in 2009 to raise funds for the NKCA.

This is a 2 blade stockman pattern. It measures 3 7/16 inch closed. It has jigged brown bone handles, brass Puma shield, brass liners, stainless blades, and nickel silver bolsters.

Both blades do not have half stops. This knife does not come with a box.

The main blade has a long pull. The main blade is engraved “NKCA SAMPLE” and the smaller blade is engraved “PROTOTYPE”. This knife is in like new condition, never used or sharpened. Handles are in great shape with no defects. The blades are a bit stiff opening, but snap shut.
