Rare WENGER TAHARA 1910 Trademark Swiss Army Knife SAK (Victorinox) FauxTortoise
Beautiful antique Wenger Tahara pocket knife. It is in extremely well preserved condition. Full blade. The covers appear to be faux tortoise shell. Tahara was registered as a trademark in 1910. The name was chosen by the owners wife. It refers to a Tibetan goddess and translates roughly to "she who saves". The knife is a rare antique that is uncommonly well preserved. Wenger was acquired by Victorinox in 2005 and beginning in 2013 all of the knives are now branded Victorinox.
