Case Cheetah with lanyard hole

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Cheetah with lanyard hole

Post by kennedy knives »

I have a 1975 Case XX Cheetah with a lanyard hole . The first one that I've seen ::paranoid:: :roll: . Don't recall if Case did this or just some enterprising fellow ::nod:: . What do you think ::shrug:: ::handshake::

Hard to tell. ::shrug::
I've got a stag Cheetah from 1976 and an Appaloosa bone from 1980.
Hope you find out something about it. ::handshake::

I would imagine that Case would center a lanyard hole if they did one. ::shrug::

That aside, it's a pretty pristine Cheetah.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
