Case Cheetah with lanyard hole

I have a 1975 Case XX Cheetah with a lanyard hole . The first one that I've seen

. Don't recall if Case did this or just some enterprising fellow

. What do you think

Hard to tell.

I've got a stag Cheetah from 1976 and an Appaloosa bone from 1980.
Hope you find out something about it.

I would imagine that Case would center a lanyard hole if they did one.

That aside, it's a pretty pristine Cheetah.
