Case Sharpening Steel
I wanted to ask if any of the Case collectors here on AAPK can ID this sharpening steel. It is about 4" log and is marked "Case XX USA". Is it new, is it old, was it sold as an accessory or did it come with a knife?

It’s older, I think from the 1960s/70s. Not sure how long they were available. They were sold as a stand-alone item, individually boxed. I have one in the box here somewhere. They may have been also sold with a knife.

Re: Case Sharpening Steel
Thanks for your help, Ken. It was in a box with a Case knife where I can see now it didn't belong.
