WR Case & Sons 6390R With 3 Springs?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

WR Case & Sons 6390R With 3 Springs?

Post by herbva »

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this knife? I haven't seen this shield before or a Case with 3 springs and don't see it in any of my reference books. I'm not going to rush into plunking down $360, but would like to know more about it. Sorry for the poor screen shots. Happy holidays everyone! :D

Well, I have one just like it. 3 1/4" closed.
I've had this knife for a good while now and I had no idea it was a Case. Pending the authenticity of the e bay knife.
I didn't know what it was because it had no markings.
Anything on the tangs is worn away. It is a dandy little knife however and I was glad to have it.
I hope it's a Case. I will say it beats a piece of coal this time of year.
