I just finished commenting two weeks late on your RR Sowbelly Trapper, and came here, only to see it again!!!
to see it again ... That is ONE GOOD LOOKING knife!

I love good quality Japanese made knives too. as I recall in the 80's and 90's A.G. Russell was importing some nice stuff from Seki-City, I ended up with a few pieces. Life changed for me in the mid-90's and I stopped collecting and I still got the A.G. Russell catalog for about 15 years after I bought my last knife from him/them. I must have a 6-foot stack of them. I got rid of them, but I wish I had a few today, just to see the old patterns/models and prices...

Much thanks, Mark, that big ole' G/F "Toe" is everything you think it is!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 10:51 am All beauties Mark, with that ghost fish being especially nice.
Thanks, Kerry, as nice as the Barlow is, the other 8 1/4" Appaloosa is even nicer, IMO, cuz it's longer!
Thank you as well, Tony, I know you're busy so it's nice of you to take the time to comment!
I assume I'm part of your blanket comment, John, so thanks a bunch, even if I'm not!
Thanks for commenting, Ken, and you're right, I have him hopping!
My usual thanks to you, Dog, sorry you missed on the Barlow, not to worry, I'm sure they'll drop again!
I was surprised by that dispenser, John, but when I thought about it, just brilliant for knife guys!

It's gorgeous, Dog, I too have been saying how hard it is to believe that RR can pump out these beautiful well made knives for the price we pay!
I'm certainly not complaining, and I hope we haven't jinxed it!

Sharp looking RR RDN!
I got this Steel Warrior yesterday at an antique store. 15 bucks with the box, I couldn't resist.
