Awesome RR and Marbles RDN! I have been busy working and missed your entrance to the forum. ::welcome:: to AAPK!

Got me another two in the mail today:

Top :Vintage 1980s Ranger's G. Sakai Seki Japan 4.37" Folding Scimitar Lockback Knife
This great looking Scimitar lockback was made for the French company, Coursolle, in Seki, Japan circa 1980s-90s by G. Sakai - one of the city's most respected knifemakers. It features a handle made of Corian and has stainless steel bolsters and and stainless steel blade. Has great function and has the feel of quality. No sheath.
Closed Length: 4.375"
Blade: 3.3" Long, Stainless Steel
Handle: Stainless Steel and Corian

Bottom: Vintage Browning 378 Custom Tak Fukuta Seki Japan Pearl Mirror Blade Fixed Knife
This is a stunning Browning presentation knife made in Seki, Japan by Tak Fukuta circa 2000. It features a Mother of pearl handle with abalone inlays and brass surround over the tang. The blade is mirror polished AUS-8 steel. Came with a basketweave leather sheath.
Closed Length: 7"
Blade: 3" Long, AUS-8 Steel
Handle: Mother of Pearl & Abalone with brass trim
Really like this one!

Saw this 3" gentelman's knife for sale and noticed the tang stamp was the 1917-1946 stamp: SCHRADE over CUT.CO. over WALDEN,N.Y.

That probably makes the knife the same age or older than me since I'm a 1946 model. Both pen blades are marked the same with STAINLESS over STEEL on the reverse sides. The shackle/bail appears to be NS. Notice on the reverse side of the main pen 28 over 250 etched on the blade.

Thought it was worthwhile seeing how old it is, the unmolested blades both "walk & talk" and was less than $10.

I got one of the sow belly trapper a couple weeks ago and the quality is very good and the price was ridiculously low.
::skeptic:: It is almost hard to believe how they can sell it so cheap and yet it feels like a very high-quality knife.... ::shrug::

Not gonna lie, that’s a cool looking knife, if it had a different stamp , it would 5-10-20 times the price.
