Large Case Pocket Knife No Tang Stamp
Large Case Pocket Knife No Tang Stamp
I purchased this 5" Case with approx 4" blade knife at an Estate sale along with several other things from WW1 era. The knife has no tang stamp. I am hoping for some details about it before I sell it. I attached some photos. Please let me know if you need more photos. Thank you for any help!
Re: Large Case Pocket Knife No Tang Stamp
Pile side handles show heavy repair. It looks very likely to me that the blade has been replaced and the knife does not have its original Case blade.

Ditto. Both front bolsters show a poor job of repinning, and obviously the blade is a replacement, which is why there are no tang stamps visible. Too bad, I love that bowtie shield from the tested era or earlier.
