Phoenix ok for edc?
I'm posting this for a guy in the UK. He owns this knife in very good condition and is thinking of using it as his EDC, but he is would like to know if it is worth keeping it in it's present condition?

hey z, according to goins- PHOENIX KNIFE CO. PHOENIX, NEW YORK - 1892-1916.
and
levines - PHOENIX KNIFE CO. formerly CENTRAL CITY KNIFE CO. PHOENIX, N. Y. 1892-1916.
if it's that old, i would not carry it. reproduction?

Parker reproduction I suspect. Looks amazingly like the Bulldog Wharncliffe Whittlers and Parker did reproduce the Phoenix brand. Originally had a inked "Germany" stamp on the back of one of the blades.
Nice knife, probably worth keeping if he has something else in line to carry.
