Phoenix ok for edc?

I'm posting this for a guy in the UK. He owns this knife in very good condition and is thinking of using it as his EDC, but he is would like to know if it is worth keeping it in it's present condition?

It has brass liners and grey buffalo horn scales. Thanks for looking,

cool wharnie. what does the tang stamp say? is it supposed to be a phoenix, from the u.s.a. or german? it looks like a newer knife.

Parker reproduction I suspect. Looks amazingly like the Bulldog Wharncliffe Whittlers and Parker did reproduce the Phoenix brand. Originally had a inked "Germany" stamp on the back of one of the blades.

Nice knife, probably worth keeping if he has something else in line to carry.

i had the same knife in bone, its a reproduction.
