Case Back Pocket

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Back Pocket

Post by Fisher »

Cleaning out the closet and came across two of the Case Back Pocket models I bought and carried briefly several years back. Believe the TB prefix to the model number indicates Tony Bose?

May be peddling some of this stuff soon and not buying or selling often, have no printed reference material nor can find little to nothing online regarding current value. One is the model TB61546CV in Chestnut bone which was carried briefly and has patina on the blade, but still in pretty nice shape. The other is the model TB10546SS with what looks to be black linen micarta or G10 scales. This was carried even less and in excellent shape. Do have the original boxes and information pamphlet with each, however the oil/wax paper is somewhat tattered from handling.

Not much on the bay and realize prices vary based on demand, but would appreciate any input regarding a "ballpark" fair value for each?

Thanks

Viewing good pictures of the knives would be a big help in selling the knives. ::tu::

Several of both patterns have sold on eBay. Maybe your search missed them? Looks like the TB101546 is probably carbon fiber handle covers. Most of both knives sold look to be MIB, so you may need to adjust accordingly.

You might be able to sell them here in the Knife Commerce forum but you will need a premium subscription to do so. (Click on Support AAPK in the box on the upper right of this page for details about premium subscriptions.) ::tu::
