Case pattern

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

🤔 What might it look like?
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

There is no record of a Case 22 handle die code listed in Levine’s Guide.

Case Bros actually made a 22 pattern 1900-12. It was a small jack knife 3 1/4" closed.

Also Case produced a 22 pattern doctor's knife in the W R Case & Sons era 1905-14 It was 3 1/4" closed. The Case Bros 22 pattern was a 3 1/4" jack knife. Both are referenced in the price guide section of my book, "OLD KNIVES, XX AND MORE"
