Elephant toenail
I have an elephant toenail case knife... 6250 I don't see any dots was wondering what the value of it is thanks in advance

The elephant etch on the blade did not appear until mid-1970s, so there are dots. You just can’t see them under the bolster. Sorry I can’t tell you a value but check an advanced search on eBay for sold listings of Case pattern 6250 1974-1979. Any in that date range are going to be similarly valued. Compare the condition of sold knives to yours and adjust accordingly.

I would suggest that you fold the blade 90 degrees to the handle.
The dots may appear, or not.
