I have a couple of United Cutlery's since the 1980's would like to sell them but need to know the story 1st, one of them say's United Boker. BTW one of my U C says made in Japan It's UC385 (Badger) wildlife Series, this is the only one I've seen.

From 1985-1990 United contracted their knives to be made by Boker. They are distinguished by the unique shield which combines both the United Cutlery and Boker Tree Brand logo. These knives were built to the same specs as the Boker’s from the Solingen factory. After Boker USA closed in 1984, it was nice to still see a few years of USA/Germany Boker's on the market.
After the contract ended they had their knives made in Japan during the 1990s. Those were mostly lock back patterns from what I remember. I would consider them a little lower in quality compared to the earlier ones made in Germany, but they were still well made and fairly attractive. Around late 90s-early 2000s they were being made in Taiwan.
In 2006 United declared bankruptcy. The brand was bought by Bud-K Knives around 2010. They have a website up and you can see they only produce replica swords and tactical knives now made in China and Taiwan.

Thanks for the back story I knew they had gone out of business but I didn't know all the detail.
We sold a few United Boker knives in the mid to late 1980s, they were decent knives. The Japanese ones were OK, but not the quality of Kershaw, which was our biggest seller.
