Just got this peanut in with a pattern number of MM220. Not sure what the MM stands. The handles are black. Appreciate some guidance on this one.

Maroon Micarta.
Hard to tell the color and handle material from the pics, but does look like maroon micarta?

In more recent years Micarta falls under handle material number 10. It would be nice if the reference section here was expanded to include the lessor known handle frame patterns and pattern number codes used since 1980.
