Case hatchet blade only

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Welcome to AAPK.

Like most things, it depends. How much will it cost, how long are you willing to wait to find the rest of the set, and how much will that cost (to buy the rest)? Personally, I’d pass. If you want a Knif-Ax set, complete sets are frequently available on eBay and other sources. Partial sets are occasionally available also. It’s up to you but if you go that route be sure the handle you get fits the hatchet (or knife blade) you have. There were different versions made and they’re not all interchangeable.

You can research them here (search is found under Quick links on the upper left) to learn more.

Thanks, being very new to this site, I did not want to violate any rules. I am just cleaning out stuff I have accumulated during lock down, that I really don't have a use for. So, if this is wrong please delete, I would like to pass this along to someone who will use it, just cover shipping.

Thanks Tom

Very generous of you. Welcome to the forum. I hope it finds a good home. Somebody out there needs it to complete a set.

Thanks for the generous offer. Not wrong here but probably the better place is to post it in the knife mechanics swap forum. viewforum.php?f=54 Someone may see it there and probably put it to good use. ::tu::
