I've seen these, interested in the opinions of people who have purchased and used one. ::nod::

What do I think, you ask?

I’m not impressed. Don’t think I’ll be buying one.

I would rather pass down an old Case or Keen Kutter.

One, folding knives that have blades that are not fully covered by the handle scare the living heck out of me. Always afraid of reaching down into my pocket and having my finger sliced open.

Secondly, this looks like a Chinese design sold by a French company that was less than $20 at a local department store. And UGLY!

I have several traditional and tactical designs, and I think even the worst of them is 100X better than this thing. It's more of a downgrade from what I carry, not an "upgrade". I carry what works. Personally, if I were even into a knife like this, I'd buy a Toothpick (which I'm eventually getting one that is NOT a fish knife, coincidentally).

Well,,,,,,

At least it looks like it had a half stop, a locking half stop at that. That’s about the only interesting thing I see about it.

Lest my OP is misleading, I did not approve of this knife. I just thought that the knives and the website were just..... odd. This one is more to my taste:

OK. To me, it's overpriced crap being touted by lofty marketing claims to people who A: don't normally carry or use knives or B: whose best knife is something from Frost Cutlery.

And, uh cheapest one of this is $30. Rough Rider's Toothpick is $10, $5 more can get many fancy options. I just stick with the yellow versions because I like them, and they tend to be the cheapest.

It appears to be designed for aesthetic over function. I think it looks odd. No thanks.

Also, I would be skeptical of anything recommended from a website called ''bro bible''.

I thought this question was very interesting, ‘But when was the last time you bought a new pocket knife?’ For the average reader of that website the answer may be measured in months, years, or decades. However for the AAPK crowd this question should be answered in weeks, days, or even hours! OH

I’m not so sure. I know some 20-somethings who change their knives about as often as they change underwear. Usually an inexpensive “tactical” style. (A few who can afford it will spend some serious cash though). They buy it, show it off for a few days or weeks, then “flip” it to someone else and buy another that is different. They’re conversation pieces. Handle color, blade etch, unique design or operating mechanism seem to be the fascination of the day, and what attracts them. The OP knife would be exactly their style. For a week or three.

I guess they’re sorta like me, except I buy old traditionals, and usually keep them. ::facepalm::

After getting by the endless pops ups and ads for chicken mcnuggets and mattresses I finally got to see the knives in question. They appear to be 21st century versions of a Vendetta Corse that are likely produced in the Pacific Rim for very little money. The laser etching(or however they disfigure the blades)doesn't really trip my trigger and their construction looks questionable at best. The picture of the guy holding one wearing a fake Rolex didn't help any either. ::td:: ::td:: ::td::
