Can anyone tell me what these numbers stand for on this knife?
This is a boker USA pocket knife. It has the numbers 8 & 3 on either side of tree on blade. Is the year it was made? Are these knives worth anything ? Thanks for any help.

Good looking Boker. Pretty sure that "83" is the model number for that Jack knife pattern. Ironically Boker was manufacturing knives in the USA until 1983, but I think yours dates to earlier. Most likely 1960s-70s.

If you scroll down just a bit you will see a forum called - Boker Studies - this is dedicated to Boker knives. I know members on here have written a book on Boker knives and often answer questions posted there. Perhaps they have not seen your question here? Good luck to you.

It appears that the shield reads "TREE BRAND".
If so, you have a Boker USA made 83 pattern that would have been made in Statesboro, Georgia somewhere in the early 1980s.
The blades are carbon steel, probably 1075. The handles are what Boker called "ebonite".
As near as I can tell of its current condition I'd say it is worth about $30-$40.
I hope this helps.
