local antique shop has

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Boy wouldn't that be a sweet addition to a man cave!!

Wish I had room for one like that, but alas...

You gonna grab it g-dog? The price doesn't seem all that out of line, if it's in decent condition.

How big is that Dog? Looks like it would be the focal point of the room. I'd love to have that but have no where to put it.

NICE! How nice would it be to be able to view that display full of your favorite knives!

You'd need to build your house around it! Don't think it would fit through any door in mine.

Do you stand this on an end for displaying knives ? Picture shows it facing up whereas to view knives better to be 'face on' ?
I am not understanding this unit.

It stands just as you see it in the OP. Like a table top on a pedisral, but tilted toward the viewer (back edge up higher than the front edge). The display would be placed in an area where it would typically be viewed from the front but the viewer can walk all the way around it and still see down into the display. Perhaps you've seen similar displays in a museum with maps or other items under the glass. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Ken. It is so big i didn't think it would be free standing in the 'flat' position. Yes you would need a very large room to give adequate space for proper viewing.
